Mekanism X John Maeda.

After its collaboration with the artist Invader, French company MEKANISM skateboards is giving carte blanche to John MAEDA for a limited-edition board. John MAEDA is a world leading figure in the digital creation and its education. Professor at the Massachussets Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab, his goal is to reconcile man with machine by building a bridge between digital programming and aesthetic creation. Multiplying the mediums of creation, John MAEDA already created digitalanimations for the Internet, posters for cultural events, illustrations for magazines, photo digital montages as well as lithographies andinteractive installations for exhibitions, advertising campaigns for great brands. 2006 Nike Catalogue.

The first quarter catalogue from Nike for 2006 has broken out from the locked gates in Oregon. There are some decent looking Free's in there, but I am loking forward to seeing better pics of the new Air Max 360. It's been a while since there was a really good Air Max in my opinion so be good to see. See Niketalk for all the pics.

I wasn't going to post anything about these, until I was watching highlights of Wimbledon this morning and started to get all enthisatic over the competition this year. Both Maria Sharapova, and Roger Federer, who are my two picks to take the wimbeldon titles this year will be wearing these gold encrusted Nike's. The shoes will not be available for sale. A nicely presented site and the content of the store looks promising, Bermhard Willheim, Frank Leder, Siv Stodal, Judy Blame and more, including a great range of Levis Vintage. Spotted in the latest XXL magazine via Niketalk are image of an upcoming Snakeskin Air Force One, reminiscent of the famous Cocoa Snakeskins, released some years ago. If this comes to fuition, it will be especially exciting given some of the poor snakeskin Forces reelased of late.

We all know there are alot of collectors out there who either don't post on sneaker forums, or don't hare their collections, but as far as those who do goes, I don't think anyone beats Hiro.
